I always had the passion for manual work since I was little.
In particular, I was enchanted whenever I went to Davide Battistoni's shop,
one of Todi's historic shoemakers and watched with what mastery he was doing his job:
I liked the tools he used, the fact that he was working the leather, the smell of leather,
the rubber and above all the fact that he created shoes.
My passion was such that at the age of 14, during summer holidays from school,
I went to his shop to learn as much as possible about that craft, the shoemaker.
With the growing passion, when I was 21 I realized a period of practicing in Terni
by the shoemaker Veronesi, where I perfected my technique.
My shop opened in 1986 in Todi.
